Quy trình 6 bước

Tương tự Line Graph, nhưng Bước 1 được chia 1A (cho chart tĩnh) và 1B (cho chart có thay đổi theo thời gian). Nhận diện đúng pattern subtype trước khi đi tiếp.

Identify chart features

Nhận diện đặc điểm

Đầu tiên xác định chart subtype: static, change, grouped, stacked, hay time-series. Sau đó đi vào 1A hoặc 1B.

Bước 1A — Cho chart static / grouped / stacked

Tìm ranking (cao nhất/thấp nhất), khoảng cách giữa các category, outliers (giá trị ngoại lệ). Không cần xu hướng vì chart không có thời gian.

Bước 1B — Cho chart change / time_series

Xác định hướng thay đổi (↑↓→) cho từng category, magnitude (lớn/nhỏ), và reversal (đổi thứ hạng).
