The maps illustrate changes to Meadowbrook Village between 2000 and 2024.
Several features remained unchanged over the period. The park in the northwestern corner and the community centre to its east both stayed the same, while the library in the northeastern corner, the pond in the southwestern corner, and the main road running along the south of the village were also preserved.
The rest of the village, however, underwent considerable change. To the east of the park, the farmland was converted into a housing estate. To the south of the housing estate, the small shop was replaced by a supermarket and was also considerably expanded. To the south of the community centre, a car park was newly built on what had previously been an open field. In addition, in the southeastern corner, the old warehouse was demolished and replaced by an area of open grass.
Overall, while the natural and community features in the north and west of the village were preserved, the eastern and southern areas experienced considerable development, including new buildings and the removal of an old warehouse.
